We have also been working on our reading stamina. We are up to 22 minutes!! Finding a place to read around the classroom has been fun. Ask your daughter what books she chose to for book bag in her tub! Happy reading!

Math and Reading Stamina
The girls have enjoyed working with friends of TEN. As a class we played "Top It"with our Power of Ten cards as a way to become more comfortable with ten frames. Look at us go!

Fall Happenings
The girls are off to a great start this week. We learned about the holiday, Rosh Hashanah which takes place this coming Thursday. We wished each other a sweet New Year as we enjoyed apples and honey, a signature treat during Rosh Hashanah. L'Shana Tova (Happy New Year)!
In math, we voted on our favorite kind of apple. We used the data we collected to create a bar graph and a tally graph. Check out our hard work below!
