LANGUAGE ARTS
In language arts class, we read "The Josefina Story Quilt" which tells the story of a family traveling to California in a covered wagon. This story correlates nicely with our Pioneer Unit in social studies. The girls did a great job summarizing each chapter of the book. In addition, they created quilt patches representing each chapter. After all their patches were joined together, we had two beautiful paper quilts!
